They did not waste a single minute on a recap, straight into the story with a small exposition scene at the beginning. That's it. You'd better remember everything because we're diving into it at full speed.
The fight was well animated, just like we remembered. It is still not very fair that humans have to fight these flower beings that can regenerate. It's very one-sided.

They depict well how she is so concerned about what others might think of her if she expressed how she really feels. Which was all for naught, as they supported her all the way.

Maybe they went a bit too far with the power creep here. We knew about Ichinose's power when awoken (both "enki" and "berserk" mode).
Mikado went overboard at the end. Because these Oni are so nice, Mikado will live. When in reality, now that Mudano has shown up, it'd be Mikado's funeral. I don't think that's where they're going.

Then I realized I had taken a product that was not discounted when I was convinced it did. Would not have bought it at full. It was a bad grocery run.

What else is there to tell? They will resume school, they got a new classmate and the same teacher. Open happy ending...
I had higher hopes for the final battle. With all the heroes having a single-sentence dialogue, I had hoped for a longer action scene.
It was not up to the hype. We had better episodes in this same 8th season.
How many episodes are left now? They should be wrapping up the story.

Mikado is quite nonsensical and easy to fool. First, he was so sure his friend was real. Then saw him inside a burning building and made a 180º turn "you're evil I must kill you"
I understand some Momotaro having a personal vendetta against some Oni, but Mikado doesn't seem to have any reason to kill them. I don't know, talk to your supposed friend to understand?
When you thought the fight was over... I'm ready to be done with this story, though.
An all-out battle promises to be interesting. Let us see how they animated the following episodes.

Kougasaki's backstory was brutal. I hope he gets the vengeance he deserves. We need to see his biological father pay for this.

Poor Zanka, his backstory is interesting. He was training to fight Givers. Too bad they've cut it short, and we don't know how he ended up a Giver.
Ultimately, they tricked us into a complete defeat. He was hallucinating all along.

In the end, the main character, like in a shonen, is good to his core, selfless. Kougasaki seems to have never had true friends, good for him.

The episode has a major cliffhanger. Wondering if this series will have what it takes, this cliffhanger could end up as nothing or a turning point, making this series way better.

Running half-naked through the park was unnecessary 😂
People indeed tend to avoid conflict, but the main character does have friends and works in an office. It's a bit hard to believe she would have this social anxiety about speaking to Marshall 🤐
I'm still not a big fan of the art style, but it bothered me less today.

Someone they don't know recommends taking the mask off: an amateur move to do so. They were supposed to be top Cleaners. Yet...
The moment she says "smell", I don't know, put them back on? C'mon.
The author or director had to include the exposition moment in case the audience hadn't yet understood that her skill was related to smell and brainwashing. That was cheap and unnecessary.
I expected more from this team.

This episode felt quite empty. The sniper ice shot from Reno was all they gave us. The rest was inspirational pep talks for the old captain and the main character.
I wish they would give us more information on the main villain, and not just more regular Kaiju attacks.

This season, while having an animation equally beautiful to previous seasons, the plot was rather boring.
It was very nice to see the boys grow, go to university, and change the setting to Tokyo...

Not going to lie, this episode was quite boring, full of politics we couldn't care less about, and no food pr0n.
This is a clear example of how living a simpler life makes you happier. Just forget the whole thing and go back to the restaurant.

A tad disappointed with the final episode. We did not get to see the race between Rin and Haru. What the heck!?
The rest of the episode was good. Haru screaming on the beach was new and surprising, but overall, as mentioned, disappointed.
There is a movie that continues the story, but I need to stress how strange it feels that they didn't show the race. Budget issue?
I need to write a full season review in the upcoming days.

Would it be fair to say this episode was fan service? The long-awaited reunion. The actual race for Rei and Nagisa was super short; they are saving the budget for the final episode.
Nothing unexpected. They did well, just not good enough to get a podium. They are not a powerhouse; they do not have the equipment or coaching staff. So I think the ending was good, expected.
How will this anime end? Is it safe to say Haru will win over Rin?

"Ikuya arc is over", "Haru losing arc" beings 😂
Glad to see someone who can kick Haru's ass in freestyle. Although it's no surprise if the dude Albert is a world record holder. They are not in the same league. Unfair that they are (even if a friendly race) racing together. Haru can't let that get to him.
The cafeteria scene was fun. Haru found someone with whom he can eat his beloved fish 😂

The food represented me 100%. I had a similar experience with tonkatsu on one of the first nights during the 2023 trip to Japan. That first bite of the crunchy, yet juicy, meat... 🤤
Now, this episode... Rape? Really? That's cheap. I did not like that. They could have come up with other things. Maybe be thieves? They steal your belongings and leave you in the dungeon. But the hands near her panties shot? Nah...

We got a bit of world-building with a big story twist.
The main character is good to his core. Supports the party, knows how to cook, and sets a slave free in the first 20 minutes.
So far, this duo is funny. Now I want some fried rice, it looked delicious! A bit like Shokugeki no Souma 😁

Action-packed! The airplane scene was good. Unrealistic if you think about firing a weapon inside a plane, but Shin and Sakamoto were 🔥

I'm getting quite tired of Hiyori. The problem is he thinks he's doing what's best for Ikuya.
